In 2021, Joint Stock Company “Center for Innovative Technologies” commissioned ENPIK Group of Companies to develop the concept for the Khekhtsir Ski Area project. A special feature of the object is its location next to the Bolshekhehtsirsky Nature Reserve, which required the use of design solutions to maximize the preservation of the existing topography and forest plantings. The main form of transportation is cableways and ropeways. The design objects are located in the zone of existing human economic activity, while sports facilities make maximum use of the existing established terrain. The project was implemented in 2022-2023 and included:

• territory improvement (800 square meters)
• earthworks (4500 cubic meters)
• concrete works (600 cubic meters)
• erection of metal structures (70 tons)
• installation of sandwich panels (600 square meters)
• laying of cable lines (2000 meters)

All works were carried out in mountainous terrain on the slopes of the Big Khehtsir Ridge with a height difference from 198 to 598 meters above sea level. The result of the first stage of the concept realization was the opening of the central part in the volume of the Khekhtsir ski complex in January 2024. In the volume of the total area, the harmonious placement of sports and recreation facilities in an ecologically clean forest zone was realized.
